The Middleton Hall, The Gulbenkian, the Brynmor Jones Exhibition space and the University Art Collection at the University of Hull are brought together under the umbrella of Culture Campus (www.culturenet.co.uk). Through our programme we aim to engage with audiences and cultural partners in the city, region and beyond and support the University’s role as an anchor institution in the city as well as being a place of learning and cultural engagement.
The cultural programme is rooted in our research and is developed in partnership with students, artists, academics and arts organisations. The themes and topics chosen aim to be critical, connected and reflective of the young voice, as well as being pioneering and challenging.
The office is led by the Head of Culture Campus, Marianne Lewsley-Stier, who works closely with academics, students and partner organisations to ensure the programme reflects the University’s aims and objectives.
